Houston Wedding Planner · Based in Katy
A Houston wedding planner, based in Katy.
Irresistible Events & Services was founded in Katy in 2015 and has served Katy and the Greater Houston area ever since. Michelle Stack brings 25+ years of personal event coordination experience to every event, and she has worked at more than 100 venues across Greater Houston, many of them multiple times.
Katy is home. Our office is at 2125 Katy Ft. Bend Rd., by appointment only, and our home page has the full picture. This page is the Houston side of the work: the venues in the city we know, the real weddings, and what we plan for on a Houston wedding day.
Houston Venues
Venues inside the city we've worked at.
The one with a featured wedding is The Parador, a Texas Historical Landmark in Houston's museum district that blends Mediterranean and Byzantine architecture. Madison & Tanner's wedding there is in our portfolio.
The rest of the Houston venues on our list are ones we know well from planning there: we've walked each space, built a day-of timeline for it, and worked with its staff directly.
Every venue above links out to its own site from our Venues page.

Real Weddings
Real weddings at Houston-area venues.
The six weddings currently on display in our portfolio are real celebrations at Houston-area venues:
- Alexa & Brian, Sandlewood Manor. Their day came together on short notice after their original venue fell through, and Weddings in Houston featured it in its 2023 real-weddings issue.
- Amber & Walter, The Peach Orchard.
- De & Kyle, Oak Tree Manor, a historic bed and breakfast in Spring.
- Madison & Tanner, The Parador, in Houston's museum district.
- Megan & David, The Stables on the Brazos in Fulshear.
- Sara & Oscar, Jennings Trace.
Recognition
Named one of Houston's top wedding planners.
Weddings in Houston named Michelle one of the city's top wedding planners, writing that she "tailors the planning process to meet your specific needs." Read the feature. The same publication featured a wedding she coordinated, Alexa & Brian's, in its 2023 real-weddings issue.
She's also a five-time WeddingWire Couples' Choice Award winner: 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Planning a Houston Wedding
What a Houston wedding day gets planned around.
The weather
Houston weather is, as Michelle puts it, predictably unpredictable, so a rain plan is part of the conversation for every event, not just outdoor ceremonies. We plan around photo timing, potential traffic delays or road closures for vendors and guests, parking, and whether a room flip will be needed.
Booking early enough
For full-service planning, 9–12 months ahead is ideal, especially for in-demand Houston-area venues. Day-of coordination can sometimes be booked 2–3 months out, depending on the calendar.
Your venue's own team
If your venue has its own coordinator, we work as an extension of what the venue staff offers, not a replacement for them. And if you already have vendors you want to work with, we coordinate directly with them.
A timeline built for your day
Every wedding gets a custom, hour-by-hour timeline, never reused from the last one, shared with every vendor before the day arrives. Multicultural and multi-tradition ceremonies are welcome.
