FAQ

Questions we hear before "yes."

If your question isn't here, it's faster to just ask — reach out directly.

Michelle brings 25+ years of event coordination experience and has planned a few hundred weddings and events, though Irresistible Events & Services itself has been in business since 2015.

Wedding pricing depends on the package — see the full breakdown of Pearl Package and Event Management pricing on our Weddings page. Corporate and social events are quoted individually based on scope.

A $1,000 non-refundable deposit and signed contract secures your date. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event.

Payments already made aren't refundable if you cancel. If you cancel less than 6 months before your event date, a second payment is required to cover services already provided and the loss of that date. If you need to postpone instead of cancel, payments already made can be applied to a new date once one's confirmed. Full terms are outlined in your signed contract.

Yes — Irresistible Events & Services carries liability insurance.

Full-service planning covers the entire process — vendor selection, budgeting, design, and timeline creation — starting the day you book. Day-of coordination is for couples who've already planned their wedding and need a professional to run the rehearsal, confirm vendors, and manage the day itself.

Not as a standalone package — in practice, partial planning tends to turn into full planning at a reduced rate. If you need more support than day-of coordination but not full-service planning, we recommend booking Event Management and adding extra planning hours as needed, billed at $100/hour in 30-minute increments.

For full-service planning, 9–12 months ahead is ideal, especially for in-demand Houston-area venues. Day-of coordination can sometimes be booked 2–3 months out, depending on the calendar.

It starts right away with a welcome email and access to your own Aisle Planner account, including a personalized checklist. From there, expect regular check-ins — monthly or weekly depending on how close you are to your event — plus the ability to reach out anytime you have a question, need a referral, or just want guidance.

In most cases, just one — so we can give it our full attention. With enough additional support staff, we're occasionally able to take on a second event the same day, depending on the complexity involved.

You work directly with Michelle throughout the planning process. On the rare occasion she's supporting two events on the same day, her trusted team is fully capable of running the day with the same care and attention to detail, and Michelle remains available should anything urgent come up.

No — you're welcome to use our trusted vendor list, but it's never required. If you already have vendors you want to work with, we're happy to coordinate directly with them.

Both — Michelle works directly with you to bring your design vision to life, offers free use of her own decor inventory when it fits, and recommends trusted vendors for anything beyond that.

Yes — Houston is one of the most diverse metro areas in the country, and we regularly incorporate specific cultural traditions and multi-faith ceremonies alongside standard wedding elements.

We're based in Katy, TX, and serve the entire Greater Houston metro area, including Cypress, Fulshear, Richmond, Sugar Land, Memorial, Cinco Ranch, The Woodlands, Galveston, and Beaumont — plus destination weddings and events at venues across Texas, including Fredericksburg, Austin, and beyond.

Yes — corporate events, showers, birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations of life are all part of the work.

Yes — holiday parties, client appreciation events, and offsites, along with social celebrations like showers, birthdays, and anniversaries.

Yes. We coordinate celebrations of life with sensitivity, managing logistics so family can be present instead of running the event themselves.

A custom, hour-by-hour schedule built specifically for your event, cross-checked against every vendor's own timeline, so the day runs on cue from ceremony to send-off.

We stay proactive to keep this from happening in the first place — communicating directly with every vendor in the lead-up to the day, following up right away if anyone's running late, keeping backup vendors in mind in case a replacement is ever needed, and flagging traffic delays as soon as we're aware of them.

Yes — weather is part of the conversation for every event, not just outdoor ceremonies. We plan around photo timing, potential traffic delays or road closures for vendors and guests, parking, and whether a room flip will be needed, so nothing catches you off guard if the forecast changes.

Cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, or credit card. Online credit card payments are accepted for your convenience but carry an additional 3% processing fee.
